We’re thrilled to have onboard Evelien Rondenbosch, our new Customer Success Manager πŸŽ‰ Check out this Q&A session with Evelien to learn more about her role at Verbolia, her previous experience and more.

 

  • Hello Evelien, can you tell us a little about yourself?
    Hi, my name is Evelien Rondenbosch, I am 28 years old and I live in Herne, a small town not far from the office in Enghien. I am a very active, enthusiastic and social person with an analytical mind! I studied business engineering in Brussels and worked as a financial auditor (EY) and business analyst (Veepee) before joining Verbolia.

 

  • What do you like to do in your spare time?
    Ohh I am a very outgoing person. I love to spend quality time with my friends, especially over a glass of wine πŸ˜‰ On top of that, I like to run. It helps me take my mind off things. Some for reading for me! And did I mention that I am a big animal lover and the proud mom of Codie, my dog, and Litchi, my horse? With both of these, I love to go for long walks in the nature!

 

  • What was the last book you read?
    Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty. As I like mystery books, I can devour all her books. In a nutshell, this story is about a BBQ party where things go wrong… You can guess about it during reading, but you won’t predict it!

 

  • What is your favourite quote?
    I would say that “life begins at the end of your comfort zone”. Joining Verbolia pushed me out of my comfort zone as I’m discovering a completely different industry here, but very enthusiastic about it!

 

  • What were you up to before joining Verbolia?
    For the past year and a half, I have been working at Veepee as a business analyst. I daily checked if the different in-house sourcing teams would meet their targets and on which KPI’s they could and should improve and how. I also collected and analysed data based on specific requests from the teams and made easy-to-read visualisations for them!

 

  • What do you like the most about Verbolia?
    Not everyone would agree, but it’s really nice to go from a very large company to a smaller start-up atmosphere! And Verbolia is everything you would expect from a start-up. The fact that Verbolia bridges the gap between customer service and analysis really appeals to me. The business is constantly evolving and the main challenge would be to master the SEO ecosystem and its functioning!

 

  • How does Verbolia stand out from the crowd?
    As I said before, Verbolia is everything you would expect from a start-up. A young and motivated team, dedicated to the growth of Verbolia and helping our clients achieve their goals. Everyone here has great expertise in their field… It’s very enriching to be surrounded by such a team to push your knowledge forward.

 

  • I know you’re coming to the end of your first week at Verbolia. How was it ?
    Quite overwhelming actually, but in a very positive way! I already met very nice people with a lot of knowledge and I’m eager to learn all about Verbolia and its amazing product!


  • What value will you add to the clients of Verbolia ?
    With my background in analytics, I believe I can help them better understand their various key performance indicators in terms of visibility and revenue. In addition, I will be more than happy to accompany and advise them at every stage of the contract renewal process.

  • Where do you see the future of e-commerce?
    Huge… Not to say gigantic! In the past, I wasn’t a big fan of online shopping first but since the covid-19 pandemic, I changed my mind. It is sooo easy. With a further improved supply channel, trusted logistics and a top-notch ecommerce platform, the user experience is improving every day. Tools like Verbolia are also helping to drive the ecommerce landscape forward!
